F3F 2003 - Parker Mtn. 10-11-03 Results

Thanks to Joe Wurts calling the weather we managed to get in a zero
round plus 4 rounds to have an official comp. We tried for Vincent
but from 10:30 to the Noon start it was holding steady around 8 knots
or so from the N to NE which doesn't work, so off to Parker.

Parker was holding the same 8 to 10 on the back side. We waited a
bit... set up the first pole and it started to die, so we waited a
bit more. The Breeze came back up but still on the back side, so we
set up the course.

The wind was cycling but all in all, everyone seemed to get their
fair share with the exception of Richard Chambers who had three
stinky ones in a row. Good news was he pretty much used up all the
really bad air for the rest of us.

Joe continues to show us just how good he is especially in light air
where it really shows who keeps his aircraft moving.

Alexie flew well all day,, where did this guy come from ? :-) He
Pike Brio looks as good as he flew it, nice color scheme.

Mike Sheridan was consistent ( he didn't crash anything this time )
and pulled out a smoking 55:23 in the last round to move into 3rd.

Thanks for coming out. Oh, this years newbs are getting better
from just coming out and racing and we have another newb, Dave Bates
to let the others move up in the pecking order. Welcome Dave, hang
in there, hope you had some fun.

Parker treated us pretty good this time, I think there was Three
Virgin planes of which one received repairable damage from a loan
Parker Dried out 'til hard bush, terrible sound when a moldie hits one
of these things, sorry.
