Here are today's practice F3F race results from our first race at
White Point, (San Pedro/Palos Verdes), approx 1-1/2 miles NW of Pt Fermin.

White proved today not be of Fermin's potential but all had a good
time.  Wind or lack of it started the day, light foam until about 2ish
when it started to fill. The Course was moved a bit the right,
away from the point and seemed to be working a bit better at the
time.  As the wind built from SW, it kept going right until is held
WNW, a bit of right on the course, right side had a nice pop, left
sucked. Only Tom Copp figured out how to get through it well early
on,  Nathan found out as well later.

We had a nice building breeze, got up to around 15 mph or so.  The
course might have been better more to the left, but we were all
having a good time getting in rounds where it was.

Consensus is, White will work just fine for F3F especially in a
normal sea breeze of 240 degs, today was partly the remnants of
yesterdays storm... yesterday, Fermin was said to have been around 40
mph!

,,, in fact as the CD of  the next MOM, foamies classes only will be
there as well.  Retrieval sucks, but there is a way to the bottom as
some found out early flying foam.

Also noted, White's could work well for the VRQ with consistent wind
for all.   Did I mention the LZ,,  how about centerfield of a
beautiful Baseball park.  Bathrooms, water and parking within 100
yards and an easy walk from the parking lot or street.

Here are the results; hopefully the cut and paste formatting holds.

Tom Copp showed us around the course all day, congratulations Tom
