| Beacon Ridge. A Santa Ana site that should work from ENE to ESE, with abundant (if slightly challenging) soft , tall grassish landing areas and easy access for any standard car or truck. Suitable for F3F and Unlimited Slope Racing. Possible DS potential. Approximately 1 hr. north of LAX next to the old Ridge Route and east of I-5. | ||

Park anywhere you like, but watch for ignition of the tall weeds by hot cats or mufflers. Land in the soft stuff by flying parallel to the face along the crest and dump it while still moving. Beware of the odd gas line sign as you come in. |
